Well kids, I am very disappointed that none of you told me what to get you. I guess nothing is the answer. I'm excited to see most of you tomorrow in LA and mommy on Christmas Eve. Life is good. Finals went well. Lots of snow outside. Makes driving disgusting, so I'll be glad to be in the sun for a bit. I am really happy right now. Life is so good. Are ya'll excited to meet him on the 26th? I'm excited about it. He's great. Love ya

Christmas Letter- Please advise changes??????
December 2008
Dear Family and Friends,
Happy Holidays from the Martineau’s !!!
This year has been exciting for us, capped off by buying a house in Fairfield, a nice house near the high school. The kids were all home Labor Day to help patch holes, paint, clean and move. Everyone who stopped by got to help; it was a real joint effort. But it is fantastic to be home !!! With the house came the addition of two lovely dogs, Dorian, Mark’s golden retriever and now Brutus, an English bull dog (Matthew’s dog).
Christine is in Chico, continuing her studies to be a teacher. Can you believe middle school, or high school? I teach 3rd and that’s as far as I can handle. Christine has a new fascination with cycles and drives an adorable, though tough, scooter around Chico.
Marie just got some exciting news; she is going to spend the month of May in Ecuador nursing. Then she has one more year in the nursing program at BYU. The family spent Thanksgiving in Oregon, really freezing, though Marie thought it was lovely.
Mark is finishing his second year of college and is presently home going to Solano College. Believe it or not, he still wants to teach high school?? Once again 3rd graders max my patience, how will he do it?
Matthew is doing well in his sophomore year in high school, playing football (defensive line), and presently basketball. He is very close to driving, so I will be totally out of usefulness. Oh well, I will have to think of some hobbies…..
Love to all, Louise, Christine, Marie, Mark and Matthew
